Alexandra is empathetic and appreciates that the uncertainty surrounding divorce is emotionally taxing for clients. She tries to alleviate this stress by ensuring that clients are knowledgeable and well-versed in the law. She also counsels clients on how the law applies to the individual facts of their case, and how the issues in a case are interrelated and affect an overall resolution.
Her experience and knowledge of the subtleties in family law allows her to craft individualized and creative solutions to the numerous issues that may arise during a divorce. She takes a reasonable approach to resolving disputes and keeps clients involved throughout the divorce process. She also appreciates that circumstances often change during a case and will counsel clients when strategies and positions should be re-evaluated.
Alexandra’s practice is devoted exclusively to family law and she appears regularly before the Family Part in Mercer, Somerset, Hunterdon, Middlesex, and Burlington counties. She has courtroom experience in the Family Part addressing a wide variety of issues related to enforcement of existing court orders, modification and termination of alimony and child support obligations, emancipation, college contribution, jurisdiction, pendente lite support and final restraining orders. Alexandra has also successfully represented clients in the New Jersey Appellate Division on issues related to the modification of alimony and child support, emancipation, establishing college contribution obligations, and counsel fees.

Alexandra is admitted to the bar in the State of New Jersey and United States District Court of New Jersey.
She was appointed to the Editorial Board of the New Jersey Family Lawyer Magazine in 2023 and serves as an Associate Editor. On the Editorial Board she regularly publishes articles related to the practice of Family Law in New Jersey.
Alexandra has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association since 2023. As a member of the Executive Committee, Alexandra reviews legislation that may impact the practice of family law in New Jersey. For the 2024-2025 term, she was appointed to serve on the Domestic Violence Legislative Sub-Committee.
She also regularly lectures on topics related to family law for the New Jersey State Bar Association and New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
She also serves as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelists in Mercer County. The Matrimonial Early Settlement Program is mediation program used by the Courts to help divorcing couples reach an agreement on the economic terms of their divorce instead going to trial. Panelists are selected by the Presiding Judge of the Family Part in each county and make recommendations on how equitable distribution, child support and alimony should be resolved after reviewing the facts presented in each case.

Alexandra graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers College at Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in english and economics in 2010, and graduated with honors from Rutgers School of Law – Camden in 2013. Due to her background in economics, Alexandra has a deeper comprehension of the complex financial issues related to the division of corporate benefits such as restricted stock units, stock options, pensions, retirement accounts and other types of employee compensation.
During law school, Alexandra interned for the New Jersey Supreme Court with Justice Virginia A. Long prior to her retirement and former Justice Helen E. Hoens. As an intern, Alexandra was responsible for reviewing and analyzing petitions for certification to the New Jersey Supreme Court and drafting bench memoranda to the Justices outlining each party’s position for oral argument.
Alexandra was also a legal writing teaching assistant and a lead editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. At graduation Alexandra received the Deborah Michael Richards Excellence in Family Law Award.
She gained litigation experience representing clients in the Rutgers School of Law – Camden Child and Family Advocacy Clinic. Alexandra served as law guardian and litigated the best and/or express interests of children in Title 9 and Title 30 abuse and neglect proceedings with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency.
For the 2013-2014 court term Alexandra served as law clerk to the Honorable Catherine Fitzpatrick, P.J.F.P., Presiding Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part in Mercer County. Alexandra joined Ulrichsen Rosen & Freed LLC in 2014, directly following her Family Part clerkship. She has exclusively practiced family law since that time.

Personal Background
Alexandra resides in Hopewell, New Jersey with her husband, Derek and their daughter, Mary Dylan and son John Angelo. She currently serves as the President of the Board of Trustees of Pennington Montessori School and competitively races in triathlons. In 2024 she placed 3rd in the New Jersey State Triathlon Championship and qualified for the 2024 and 2025 USA National Triathlon Championship.
